Virtual Education Details
Requirements
Virtual education requires the following in order to participate and complete a course given the courses are delivered online.
Internet access with decent bandwidth
Chrome, Firefox or Safari Browsers
Camera, Microphone & Speaker (s)
A computer - desktop, laptop or tablet. The live sessions can be accessed using a smart phone (IOS or Android) but it is not recommended for courses over 1.5 hours or where a high level of learner engagement are expected such.
A quiet area that is free from background noise and the learner can concentrate.
During class:
Depending on the type of live session you may need to have your camera on during the entire course.
Any one-on-one session with the Caregiver Coach would benefit from having a camera on entire session.
Small group courses with high engagement /discussions require camera and microphone for learning activities.
Large group courses may have the only main presenter camera and microphone on. Attendee microphones are unmuted for Q & A.
Our Virtual Classroom
IG LLC uses a private, secure server that is dedicated to only running our online education courses. It is only for Vertie users, not available to the general public.
On the day of class
Please plan to log into Vertie and be ready to go at the start of the class to ensure each student gets the best experience in this class. Students must attend and participate in the entire course.
