Lori Marshall
Lori C. Marshall RN, PHN, MSN, Ph.D., NE-BC, received her Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Education (Educational Psychology) with an emphasis on human performance at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California and her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a focus on Education and Administration.
Lori has over 39 years’ experience in healthcare with 29 years of that time focused in administration, leadership and education roles. Her experience includes implementing interactive patient care systems, patient and family education program oversight and designing documentation systems at one of the nation’s top pediatric hospitals. From 2008 to 2016, Lori served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Master's programs at USC in the Keck School of Medicine, Price School of Public Policy and at the UCLA School of Nursing.
Lori's experience goes beyond the hospital setting to include general manager/director of nursing for a home health agency serving Southern California and education specialist for the Outpatient Clinics at a children's hospital in Orange County. She frequently presents as an invited speaker at conferences in the United States, Australia, China and Italy on the subject of teams, teamwork, quality and patient and family education.
MAE-FAY KOENIG-SENG
Mae-Fay Koenig-Seng, MPH, received a double Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Sociology from the University of California, Riverside and her Master’s Degree in Public Health, with an emphasis in healthcare administration from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mae has over 18 years of healthcare experience focused on strategic planning, business development, and global health. She established the Center for Global Health at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Her global experience includes international patient services, telehealth, academic collaborations, training programs, and programmatic consultations. She has worked with hospitals, healthcare institutions, embassies, and ministries of health in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, China, Thailand, Mongolia, Malaysia, Panama, Bolivia, Columbia, Peru, Italy, Germany, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
Mae’s experience also includes strategic planning, business development, contracting, master planning, market analysis, network development, managed care, marketing, community affairs and has provided operational leadership in hematology-oncology, urgent care, and amputation prevention services.
PULkit Arora
Pulkit comes with a total of 8+ years' experience in the IT industry across a variety of domains. He is a seasoned Product guy and has played various roles such as techno-functional business analyst, product owner, scrum master, project & product manager during his journey. He has led the software delivery of many SaaS based products from scratch and worked with leading industry firms. He’s currently working with EY as a Senior Consultant in Wealth & Asset Management Space. He is a Certified Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master, and holds a rich experience in Agile / Scrum Software Delivery.
He holds a Bachelor in Technology and a Master's in Business Administration in Marketing & Knowledge Technology Management. He is a product enthusiast, likes to read about product management, digital transformation & analytics. In his free time, he likes to read books, watch movies, inspirational biographies, listening songs, play badminton and explore new places while travelling.
Tere Jones
Tere Jones, RN, BSN is a product development consultant for the IG LLC team. She received her BSN at the University of Texas at Arlington. Tere has been working for the past 10 years as a Clinical Care Manager supporting patients and families with complex and chronic health needs.
Tere has had over 25 years of experience in patient and family education having worked directly with development and implementation of many large-scale educational projects directly involving patients and families as well as the education of the medical staff. Tere has long had a passion for correctly conducted patient and family education and a vision to make a difference on this front through integrated digital solutions.
Kidest Nadew
Kidest Nadew, RN, MSN is a program consultant who is an experienced healthcare professional with extensive work in paediatrics clinical care, program management, global health and senior management as a country director for Yale University Global Health Leadership Initiative Global Programs (both clinical and non-clinical hospital and healthcare management systems). Ms Nadew has worked in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Australia, the Republic of Ireland and Nigeria in program and service coordination in child health, paediatrics HIV/AIDS, hospital middle management, and human resources for health as hospital management and leadership advisor.
She has led the development of multiple leadership capacity building programs, development of curriculum and leadership coaching programs.
Ms Nadew holds a Master’s of Health Science from the University of Sydney and is a doctoral candidate with Glasgow Caledonian University in Health, Education and Social Sciences. She also holds certificates in human resources management, leadership and change management and coaching.
Rachel Nishiyama
Rachel Nishiyama graduated from U.C. Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology. Upon graduation, Rachel attended University of the Pacific in Stockton, California where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Her experience ranges from outpatient orthopedics to women’s health, pre and post-natal care, infants with Torticollis and Plagiocephaly and home health with the geriatric population.
What drew Rachel to physical therapy was when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and was treated by a physical therapist after undergoing a mastectomy. Rachel was fascinated seeing patients return to their prior level of function through exercise, manual therapy, and education.
Her goal as a physical therapist is to assist her patients achieve their functional goals to the best of their abilities. She currently enjoys working in home health where she feels she can make the greatest difference in people’s lives.
Lynn SAlvaggio, OTR
Lynn Salvaggio is a practicing occupational therapist focusing on helping her patients regain functional independence.
Her sense of fulfillment is derived from seeing the smiles, and often the surprise, on her patients' faces as they progress toward their goals.
Lynn's areas of interest include: orthopedic rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, strength and balance, home adaptation, and self-care modification.
She is excited to help educate families and caregivers to become better providers.
